My name is Danielle Prate and I work at a children's hospital in the Chicagoland area. I am a Nursing Professional Development Specialist with over 11 years of nursing experience, including a decade dedicated to pediatric care. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing in education and am a Certified Pediatric Nurse. I am is passionate about advancing nursing practice through education and am especially committed to improving outcomes in pediatric oncology. My current work centers on supporting clinical staff development and enhancing patient safety. At this year’s APHON conference, I am presenting a poster on the implementation of a methotrexate tracker, aimed at improving chemotherapy administration processes.
