I have been a dedicated pediatric nurse for eight years, starting my career in the NICU and PICU before transitioning to an outpatient pediatric oncology clinic. In December 2023, I stepped into a new role as the Fertility Coordinator RN, where I meet with families at the beginning of treatment to discuss infertility risk and coordinate fertility preservation procedures. This role has shown me cancer care is about more than just treatment—it’s about supporting patients' future quality of life. I am passionate about advocating for patients to receive timely information about fertility risk and providing hope for their future fertility. I am an active member of both local and national APHON and am excited to see fertility preservation becoming a growing focus in pediatric oncology. I am honored to contribute to this important conversation.
