Oncology Nurse Navigator at Dayton Children's Hospital who coordinates care for oncology patients who are not on a clinical trial. I am the main point of contact for these patients and their families. I provide new patient education, assist in scheduling procedures, clinic appointments and admissions for treatment. Provide community outreach within patient's school districts for oncology education. I also provide supportive and compassionate care to help guide the patients/families to the correct resources when needed. Finally, I provide education throughout the Hem/Onc unit and staff as well as lend a helping hand in direct patient care as needed throughout the unit.
