Lynn Winfield began her nursing career at Manning Family Children's Hospital 33 years ago. She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences in 1992 and completed a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport in 2020. She is a Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse and has dedicated her entire nursing career to the pediatric hematology oncology specialty. She has held various nursing roles including Staff RN, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, Department Director, and Service Line Administrator. Lynn is currently the Senior Director of Patient Care Services at Manning Family Children's Hospital with oversight over the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders Program, Palliative Care Program, Chaplains, and Pharmacy.
