Stacy is a Research Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Stem Cell and Gene Therapy Clinical Trials Program at Stanford University and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. She obtained her BSN from the University of Kansas School of Nursing, and her MSN from the University of California - San Francisco Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. She worked in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplant in both academic and tertiary care centers for over 2 decades as a nurse and nurse practitioner prior to transitioning to her current role in research. Stacy served as the Membership Chair for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of APHON from 2014 to 2020, and as a volunteer board member until 2025. She has also been serving as a chapter liaison on the APHON Local Chapter Committee since 2021.
