Margie Kjellin MSN RN CPHON NE-BC has over 36 years of experience in pediatric Hematology-Oncology with 14 years in progressive leadership positions. Margie is the Senior Director of Nursing Clinical Excellence. Margie develops and leads strategic, operational, and programmatic plans to build nursing department structure. She leads the team that supports Magnet, Nursing Quality and Analytics, Nursing Quality Champions, Policy, Nursing Informatics, the Just Culture program, the Nursing Burnout program, Shared Governance, and various publications such as the annual report, nursing hub page, newsletter and nursing strategic plan. Margie has extensive experience in critical care and bone marrow transplant care, nursing professional development, operational leadership, Magnet accreditation, and research as the principal investigator of a nurse led randomized controlled trial of bath wipes. Margie is a member of the Association of Pediatric Hematology Nursing and The American Association of Nurse Leaders. Margie has served on the ONCC CPHON Item Writer and Test Development Committee
