Sangeetha Samuel, M.Sc. (N) Critical Care Nursing, serves as the Program Coordinator for St. Jude Global Nursing. She has held dual roles as the Deputy Nursing Superintendent at Christian Medical College & Hospital (CMC), Ludhiana, and Assistant Professor at the College of Nursing, managing Critical Care Areas.
Her career began as a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Medicine Department at CMC, Vellore, progressing through roles such as Ward In charge of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit and Assistant Nursing Superintendent, overseeing critical care units. As Deputy Nursing Superintendent, she managed critical care, nursing education, and quality at CMC, Ludhiana.
Sangeetha is passionately committed to advancing nursing practice and education, with a continuous emphasis on fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in healthcare delivery. Her key initiatives include developing Interprofessional Practice modules in Cancer Care, Nurse-Preceptorship programs, and Continuing Nursing Education. She is a CMCL FAIMER Faculty, involved in health professional education, skill-based training, and simulation-based education. She also coordinates Haematology Cancer Consortium (HCC) Nursing activities in India and is a member of the Asia Pacific BMT (APBMT) Nursing Core Committee. Additionally, she leads the NIHR Global Surgery Nursing Collaborative network, improving patient outcomes in Low and Middle-Income Countries through nursing research and training.
