Meredith Jester is a dedicated registered nurse with 10 years of experience in the healthcare field. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and her Master of Science in Nursing from Millersville University in Pennsylvania. Throughout her career, Meredith has gained valuable experience in adult medical oncology and pediatric critical care, but it was during her time at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital that she discovered her true passion for pediatric hematology/oncology nursing.
At Penn State Hershey, Meredith has contributed significantly to the department, both as a bedside nurse and as a nursing professional development practitioner. She is deeply committed to advancing nursing education, particularly in the areas of orientation and onboarding, simulation education, and innovative strategies for engaging learners.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Meredith enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring the outdoors through hiking, and indulging in her love of baking.
