Susan McCollom received her Nursing Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 1982. She has worked for the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Medical Center Dallas for the past 33 years; 5 years as a staff nurse, 8 years as the stem cell transplant coordinator, 18 years as the inpatient clinical manager and 2.5 years in her current position as the Senior Director of Nursing. Her passion is supporting and building clinical nursing programs and teaching staff about chemotherapy and immunotherapy. She has been a Chemotherapy/Biotherapy instructor for 18 years. She has a bachelor's degree in biology from Texas Christian University and loves teaching the pathophysiology of disease and biotherapeutics.
