Maura began her nursing practice at MSKCC in 1988 in the department of pediatrics after completing her BSN from The College of Mount Saint Vincent. After receiving her advanced degree from New York University in Pediatric Primary Care, she transitioned to the Pediatric Hematologic Malignancies Service as an NP and is currently practicing with the service today. Maura was part of a group of nurse practitioners who were instrumental in establishing a pediatric clinic at MSK’s West Harrison regional site in 2018. She has an interest in professional development and, in addition to precepting new APPs and APP students, she is the chair of the Pediatric Education Committee. Maura is an APHON chemotherapy and biotherapy instructor and she is a former adjunct professor at Fairfield University.
