Melissa Easdon has over 30 years of experience in Emergency Nursing in both adult and pediatric settings. She holds CPEN and CEN certifications.
Melissa currently serves as the Director of the Emergency Department at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She is an active member of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), currently serving as Immediate Past President and Membership Chair of the Arkansas ENA as well as on national ENA committees for Fundraising and Leadership. In the latter she helped author the Emergency Department Manager’s Survival Guide. She has spoken at ENA and Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) Conferences on topics like throughput, creative staffing models, and budgeting.
