Joana M. Mack, MD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She serves as the Medical Director of the Vascular Anomalies Center of Excellence at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and is a nationally recognized expert in pediatric vascular anomalies, particularly in anticoagulation management.
Dr. Mack is deeply committed to education and mentorship. She chairs the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (ASPHO) Vascular Anomalies Education Working Group and has received multiple teaching and mentoring awards, including the UAMS Excellence in Mentoring Award and the Faculty Excellence in Academics and Medicine Award from the Arkansas Medical Society.
