Denise Braddock has been a pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplant nurse for almost 30 years at Boston Children's Hospital (BCH). As a Staff Nurse Level III, her responsibilities include direct patient care, precepting, mentoring, and charge nurse. In addition, she has been an APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Instructor since 2006, a safety event reviewer, and a facilitator for the hematology/oncology/stem cell transplant professional advancement committee. She is an active member of several committees at BCH, as well as contributes to leadership initiatives. Her certifications include Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse (CPHON®) and Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN®). Denise became a Reiki Practitioner in 2005 and a Reiki Master in 2015. She joined the HART team as a coach in November 2019.
