I have been a nurse for over 9 years now with the majority of my career in pediatrics. My heart was always in heme/onc but I was nervous about the emotional connection I would have with patients and families. I finally took the jump to work at one of Advocates Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinics and it has been the best career choice I have made. I have been in the clinic for over a year and a half and value the relationships I have with my patients and families on a daily basis.
