Monnie Abraham, PhD, MSN, FISQua, CPHQ is the Director of Global Nursing for GPM. In her role, she is responsible for directing the nursing program and all associated activities and initiatives. She has more than 30 years' experience specializing in pediatric nursing, international healthcare, accreditation, nursing education, quality improvement and patient safety. Dr. Abraham has been an International Nurse Consultant for the Joint Commission since 2015, during which time she has worked with healthcare organizations in several countries in Europe, Asia, the Far East, and the Middle East. She has been a faculty member at various JCI International Practicums and serves as faculty for the Healthcare Quality Management & Patient Safety Program by JCI. She is an adjunct faculty at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and has held several senior leadership positions in nursing and quality in the Middle East. She is committed to continuous improvement of quality and patient safety and standards of nursing care for children with cancer worldwide.
