Cathryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is a Certified Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Nurse and former President of the Charlotte Chapter of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Nurse’s Association, now serving as Vice President for this chapter.
Cathryn has 15 years' experience as a pediatric hematology and oncology nurse. Her career started bedside on an inpatient unit, transitioned to an outpatient clinic and infusion center where she has fulfilled roles of a primary clinic nurse, RN navigator, and infusion nurse. Cathryn has 10 years' experience leading pediatric heme onc nurses in the clinic setting and in the infusion and procedural sedation setting as a manager. Most recently, Cathryn has moved into a director role supporting these divisions as well as a larger scope of pediatric outpatient specialties.
