Dr. Christine Denhup is an Associate Professor at Fairfield University. She earned her BSN from Southern Connecticut State University, MSN from Yale University, and PhD in Nursing from Seton Hall University. Dr. Denhup has practiced as a pediatric nurse, pediatric oncology clinical nurse specialist, and academic nurse educator. Dr. Denhup earned recognition as a recipient of the Connecticut Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing and International Marie Hippensteel Lingeman Award for Excellence in Nursing Practice from Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her scholarship advances nursing education and science in pediatric palliative care and bereavement.
