Cancer Care and Fertility Preservation Program Manager

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Delaware in 2012 through their accelerated nursing program and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society. My career started at Nemours Children’s Hospital (previously A.I. duPont Hospital for Children) on the inpatient oncology unit. In 2016 I transitioned to the role of cancer care coordinator with primary responsibility of patient and family education. In this role I developed our fertility preservation program and now serve as the cancer care and fertility preservation program manager. I am a regional and national member of the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON). I have been a certified chemotherapy biotherapy provider since 2012 and I am a Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse. I also sit on the Pediatric Initiative Network (PIN) navigator committee for the Oncofertility Consortium. I have a passion for philanthropy and have worked closely with the Leukemia & Lymphoma society most notably participating in the woman of the year event as both a candidate and team member.
