Stacen Keating, PhD, MS, RN is a doctorally prepared nurse who focuses her scholarly work on global nursing education and public health. She has many years of clinical working experience at large US hospitals working in the field of geriatrics, community health and oncology delivering comprehensive patient centered nursing care. She is currently a nurse educator at the Rory Meyers College of Nursing focused on teaching both undergraduate and doctoral students evidenced based nursing practice concepts. She has a strong interest and focus on integrating the social determinants of health throughout her courses. She has a leadership role at Nurses International centered on the content creation, evidenced based review and dissemination of Open Educational Resources (OER) for global use by nurse educators, nurse clinicians and nursing students.
