As a dedicated registered nurse with 13 years of experience, she specializes in Hematology nursing. Belinda began my career with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Her goal is always to be an advocate for the health, education and well-being of patients.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is currently working toward a Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on education. She has primarily worked in the pediatric population within many of the sub-specialties in pediatrics. She has developed excellent collaborative skills that are imperative for the role of coordinator in a multidisciplinary program. She is committed to lifelong learning and engages in professional development that will help to hone the skills needed for this complex population. As part of a team of 19 different sub-specialties, she utilizes the skills of organization, collaboration and detail orientation to ensure the patients receive the highest standard of care. She incorporates her educational skills to ensure that this population understands the complexity of their disease process and ensures that they comprehend the treatment that is prescribed for them.
