Krista Cowell is a dedicated nurse with over a decade of experience in pediatric care. She began her career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in 2011 and became a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2013. Krista has extensive experience working in both pediatric inpatient and outpatient settings, providing compassionate care to children across a variety of conditions.
She also served as a Pediatric Chemo Nurse in a community hospital, where she cared for pediatric oncology patients on a general pediatric unit. In 2019, Krista took on the role of Clinical Coordinator when she helped open a new pediatric urgent care center, where she played a pivotal role in ensuring efficient operations and high-quality care.
In 2022, Krista was instrumental in the opening of a hospital with a multi-specialty unit, including hematology/oncology, where she served as Nurse Manager for both Med-Surg and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). In this role, she led and managed nursing staff, ensuring optimal patient care and smooth operations within the unit.
