Christina Chase began her career in pediatric Stem Cell Transplant at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2001. She is now a Staff Nurse III and serves as a charge nurse, preceptor, and mentor. Her certifications include Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse (CPHON®), Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS®), Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider, CITI® research training, and Reiki II.
Christina has a strong passion and commitment to staff support, education, and growth with a concentrated focus on representing night and weekend staff. She developed the Stem Cell Transplant New Hire Mentor Program in 2006 and the Hematology/Oncology/SCT Nighttime Education Initiative in 2021. Christina has been a HART coach for two years, providing support during overnight hours.
